With Jesus is a 5 week study that begins with the gospel of John, but has us trafficking all over the Bible. We see how when Jesus comes to earth, He brings grace and truth to humanity. We learn from Jesus, our master teacher, the reality of the Holy Spirit at work in our lives, and we gain a clear picture of our truest identity in Jesus.

Session 1
We explore our friendship with the greatest friend of all, Jesus, emphasizing the power found in studying the Bible and engaging in group teachings. Jesus describes Himself as gentle and humble in heart, highlighting the significance of understanding His tender, welcoming nature. By focusing on God's truth, renewing our minds through Scripture, and believing in His promises, we can deepen our relationship with Jesus and recognize the eternal impact of our daily choices.
Session 2
We learn that Jesus is gentle and humble of heart, inviting us to experience the unforced rhythms of grace by taking His yoke upon us and finding rest. Emphasizing the importance of knowing Jesus, this session highlights how our obedience, dependence, and communion with Him are crucial to experiencing His grace and transforming our lives through the renewal of our minds via Scripture. By arranging our lives around Jesus' teachings and continually repenting to reach a higher place of understanding, we can truly become His disciples, finding the best truth and life in Him.
Session 3
Our Heavenly Father delights in revealing Himself and invites us to deepen our relationship with Him through the Holy Spirit, who is mentioned over 800 times in the Bible. The Holy Spirit convicts, sanctifies, teaches, guides, and strengthens us, bringing freedom and transforming our lives, message, and community when we allow Him to govern our lives. By asking, seeking, and knocking, we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, leading to a life characterized by peace and divine guidance.
Session 4
The Bible illustrates us as vessels holding precious treasures, emphasizing the importance of being available for service to God. Paul sought to lead people to Jesus and help them grow in faith, teaching that when we share Jesus, His light shines through us. This session highlights that God's greatest gifts are poured into humble vessels, with Jesus' death and resurrection bringing us new life and ensuring that God sees Jesus' righteousness in us.
Session 5
Discipleship is highlighted as a progressive journey towards spiritual maturity, equipping us to share Jesus with others. Flourish Bible studies emphasize intentional discipleship, encouraging believers to walk in union with Jesus and be deeply rooted like trees, as illustrated in Colossians 2. This session also underscores the importance of biblical symbols and metaphors, the transformative power of God's Word, and practical steps for addressing unresolved issues and fostering forgiveness and holy confidence.
